And so it's Xmas.

Many find very boring to photograph the Christmas time. The light is too obvious, all the decoration seems too fake. At the same time, many great photographers found in Christmas time some very unusual photographs. How did they do it? What can we learn from them? How can we capture the spirit of the season in a creative and original way?

One of the keys to take interesting photographs of Christmas is to look for the unexpected. Instead of following the cliches of the holiday, such as the tree, the presents, or the family portraits, one can search for the hidden stories, the surprising contrasts, or the humorous moments that happen around Christmas.

Here we have a collection of photographs from great photographers about Xmas.

Photography and Christmas can be a fun and rewarding combination, if one is willing to challenge the conventional and explore the human side of things. Instead of seeing Christmas as a boring or predictable subject, one can see it as an opportunity to express one's vision and capture the essence of the season. Photography and Christmas can go beyond the obvious, if one knows how to look for it.

Merry Xmas!
